Does anyone have any koi fish? What do you feed them?

I use to keep them ages ago i only ever use to feed them the food recipe i made a article on check it out.I also use to feed them koi pellets.

they eat anything..
you can even just feed them bread everyday... them grow really quick with them but i don't think its to healthy for them.
but in general they will eat anything which other fishes will eat.

Any Koi pellets from a decent shop should be fine- I just buy what is most economical.

[size="6"]when i had huge koi ponds in perth,there was a koi society,worth joining.
Also john cole used to sell good koi floating food.
Used to throw a lettuce in the pond & they loved it.

Feed them just ordinary gold fish food - flake, sinking or floating pellets

my 67cm koi is fed a staple diet of bread - cheap and easy - just watch water qualities though, koi are messy enough as is and do tolerate poor quality, but the yeast in some breads can have a devostating effect on water!
