I've been babysitting my brothers guppies in my 75g and the things have dropped 30+ fry in there. Anyway ive just built a new tank and wondering if the fry would die if I put them in a cycling tank?

It will be setup with some of my tank water and I'll put some of my filter media in to kick start it.

You should be fine if you start with some of the old tank water. I would squeeze out some of the filter sponge water in to the new sponge filter.
